Los Angeles: "Straight Outta Compton" is reportedly getting a sequel.

Dogg Pound's Daz Dillinger said that they're working on a movie tentatively called "Dogg Pound 4 Life" that would pick up where the N.W.A biopic left off, reported TMZ.

The upcoming film is expected to focus on Snoop Dogg, the late Tupac Shakur, Nate Dogg, Kurupt, Daz, Warren G, and other West Coast rappers who reached stardom in the wake of N.W.A.'s fame. Death Row Records' founder Suge Knight will also be included in the story.

Although it's a "Straight Outta Compton" follow-up story, it won't likely star the same actors. Dr Dre and Ice Cube won't be producing either but Cube has reportedly given his approval and Dre's son, Curtis Young, is eyed for a role.

Directed by F Gary Gray, "Straight Outta Compton" stars O'Shea Jackson, Jr as his own father Ice Cube, Corey Hawkins as Dr Dre, and Jason Mitchell as Eazy-E. It earned over USD 60 million on the debut weekend and has so far garnered more than USD 80 million against a budget of USD 29 million.
