Los Angeles: James Franco and Seth Rogen`s controversial film `The Interview` gets pushed to Christmas Day release.
The film was earlier scheduled to release on October 10 date and now has been postponed to December 25, pinning it against `Paddington`, `Into the Woods` and `Big Eyes` and `Unbroken`, reportedly. No explanation has been given so far as to why the flick was pushed back. In the comedy, Franco and Rogen play a talk show host and a producer who score an interview with the North Korean leader and are asked by the US government to assassinate him during their visit to the controversial nation.
