New Delhi: Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor will be seen playing a drug addict in his upcoming flick 'Udta Punjab'. The film has garnered enough interest already due to its quirky music and star cast.
Earlier, Censor Board had objected to excessive use of expletives in the film, denying 'Udta Punjab' a clearance certificate. Now, it has been reported that the committee wants the film to be set up in a fictional land rather than in Punjab. According to reports, the Reviewing Committee is of the view that the film ‘defames’ Punjab.
Controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma decided to offer his expert advice to 'Udta Punjab' director Abhishek Chaubey. Guess what? RGV tweeted 'Udta Punjab' should be 'Udta India' or 'Udta World' instead.
For what it actually represents Udta Punjab Is diminutive.. A more truthful and righteous title would be Udta India or Udta World
