Los Angeles: 'Transformers: Age of Extinction', starring Mark Wahlberg, is leading the nominations list at the 35th Golden Raspberry Awards, also known as Razzies, which 'dishonours' the worst achievement in films for 2014.

The fourth installment in the action blockbuster, which has earned over USD 1 billion internationally, received seven Razzie nominations-worst picture; supporting actor for Kelsey Grammer; supporting actress for Nicola Peltz; sequel; screen combo, screenplay and director for Michael Bay, reported Los Angeles Times.

Vying with 'Transformers' for worst picture are 'Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas', 'Left Behind', 'The Legend of Hercules' and 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'.

Worst actor nominees are Nicolas Cage for 'Left Behind', Kirk Cameron for 'Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas', Kellan Lutz for 'The Legend of Hercules', Seth MacFarlane for 'A Million Ways to Die in the West' and Adam Sandler for 'Blended.'

In contention for worst actress are Drew Barrymore for 'Blended', Cameron Diaz for 'The Other Woman' and 'Sex Tape', Melissa McCarthy for 'Tammy' and Gaia Weiss for 'The Legend of Hercules.'

Nominees for the Razzie Redeemer Award, a new honour that acknowledges Razzie winners or nominees that have gone on to bigger and better things are Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Mike Myers, Keanu Reeves and Kristen Stewart.

Rounding out the supporting actress Razzie nominees are Diaz for 'Annie', Megan Fox for 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles', Brigitte Ridenour for 'Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas' and Susan Sarandon for 'Tammy.'

Joining Grammer, who is nominated for 'Expendables 3,' 'Legends of Oz' and 'Think Like a Man Too', in the supporting actor category are Mel Gibson for 'Expendabls 3', Shaquille O'Neal for 'Blended', Arnold Schwarzenegger for 'Expendables 3' and Kiefer Sutherland for 'Pompeii.'

Besides Bay, worst director nominees are Darren Doane for 'Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas,' Renny Harlin for 'The Legend of Hercules,' Jonathan Liebesman for 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' and Seth MacFarlane for 'A Million Ways to Die in the West'.
