Trina McGee, Blake Clark to star on 'Boy Meets World' spin-off

American sitcom 'Boy Meets World' alums Trina McGee and Blake Clark will reprise their roles on the show's Disney spin-off, 'Girl Meets World'.

Los Angeles: American sitcom 'Boy Meets World' alums Trina McGee and Blake Clark will reprise their roles on the show's Disney spin-off, 'Girl Meets World'.

McGee, 45, played Angela Moore while Clark, 69, portrayed Chet Hunter on 'Boy Meets World', which aired from 1993 to 2000, reported Entertainment Weekly.

The actors will make an appearance in a season two episode titled 'Girl Meets Hurricane'. William Russ, who played Alan Matthews on the original series, will direct the episode.

'Boy Meets World' chronicled the coming-of-age events and everyday life-lessons of Cornelius 'Cory' Matthews (played by Ben Savage).

The show followed Cory and his friends and family through seven seasons, from his middle school days as a pre-pubescent child to his life in college as a married man.

'Girl Meets World' centres on the life of Cory and Topanga's (Danielle Fishel) daughter, Riley Matthews (played by Rowan Blanchard). Savage and Fishel reprise their roles on the show.
