New Delhi: 'PK' has been surrounded in a cloud of controversies ever since its release. Many groups have asked for its ban, and yet the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have made the movie tax-free.
But if reports are to be believed, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Akhilesh Yadav watched a pirated copy of the film.
In a press conference Yadav said that he liked the movie when he watched it at home after downloading it, a leading daily reported.
The young CM faced flak on social networking site after the news came out. The debate over piracy has been brought to the forefront because of this incident.
Aamir Khan, who plays the lead in the film, has been at the helm of anti-piracy mission. A lot of money is lost in revenue all over the world due to piracy.
Rajkumar Hirani has directed 'PK' which released on December 19, 2014. The movie also stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Anushka Sharma, Saurabh Shukla and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.
