Varun Dhawan got DRUNK on sets of 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania'! – Here's why

New Delhi: Drinking at your workplace may land you in trouble but it worked wonders for Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan. Recent reports claim that the 29-year-old star consumed liquor on the sets of his upcoming film 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania'. No, we are not kidding.

It is reported that he got drunk in order to set the tone for a scene. “Varun had a few drinks, that too neat, to prepare for the scene. The idea worked, as the scene went off well. Even the director (Shashank Khaitan) praised his performance. Varun knew that he could not have managed such a natural performance without those drinks,” an insider told Hindustan Times.

Well, this is called work dedication.

It is also being said that the 'Student Of The Year' hunk had a fine sleep after the shooting the scene in order to do away with the effect of alcohol.

In 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania', Varun will be paired with Alia Bhatt for the third time. It is expected to release on March 10 next year.
