New Delhi: Superstar Salman Khan is seriously upping his game and how! From 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' to 'Sultan', Salman has literally rocked the box office numbers and is on a never-ending spree to make meaningful cinema.

However, the latest bit of news about the superstar will surprise you to no end. According to BollywoodLife.com, Salman's next film is going to be based on the life of an Indian man named Somen Banerjee, who ran a male striptease club in the US.

YES! It is about this man. The report states that Salman confirmed the news while talking to Bombay Times. He was quoted as saying, “A Bengali man who moved from India to America in the late 60s, struggled and created one of America’s most iconic brands. We are going to tell the story of Somen Banerjee, a man driven by fierce ambition on celluloid.”

Somen Banerjee, a Bengali immigrant entrepreneur and founder of Chippendales (a famous night spot best known for its male striptease performances and dancers who were a rage in the US back in 70s and 80s) will now be the subject of a Bollywood film by Salman Khan productions.

Amar Butala of Salman Khan Productions has been quoted as saying, “The story of Somen Banerjee has all the shades of a gangster film – raw greed, power and violence. We are currently working on the script and the plan is two fold – to produce a feature film and to develop it as a mini series as well.”
