`Proper patola` gets over 1 million hits

New Delhi: The video of Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh`s new song `Proper patola` has received over one million views online on Youtube in just a fortnight. He is glad to live up to the expectations of his fans. The song, in which Diljit teams ups with rapper Badshah, was uploaded on YouTube Aug 8 and so far it has got 1,094,211 and still counting.

The lyrics of the song, which talks about a girl, has a urban and classy touch, which can grow on listeners easily. "`Proper patola` is a song for my fans. I extend my thanks to all who have liked watching the song. I`m glad to live up to the expectations of all, and with their faith in me, `Proper patola` has become a hit," Diljit, who was seen as the protagonist in Punjabi movie `Jatt & Juliet` and its sequel, said in statement.
