American indie pop band Foster The People will release their second album "Supermodel" on March 18.

Los Angeles: American indie pop band Foster The People will release their second album "Supermodel" on March 18.
The band will release it via Columbia Records, which is the follow up of their 2011 debut album "Torches". It has a total of 12 tracks including "Coming of age", the first single that was released Monday. The new album is recorded in various locations around the world, with frontman Mark Foster and producer Paul Epworth setting up a writing studio in Morocco at the end of 2012. "We didn`t have any rules. We just created as much as we could in seven days. And in the spirit of wanderlust and discovery, we ended up stumbling on the musical identity of what this record was going to feel like," Foster said in a statement. "Supermodel" started its journey from Morocco and the work on it continued with Foster and the band in Woodshed Studios in Malibu, Henson Studios and Bronson Island in Los Angeles and it was wrapped up at Epworth`s Wolf Tone Studios in London. The album will be available on pre-order, which began Tuesday, and will include an instant download of the album`s first single "Coming of age" at the band`s website and select digital retailers. The band has also confirmed two intimate club dates in Seattle and Portland on Jan 19 and Jan 20 and another performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California on April 12 and April 19.
