Annie Lennox slams music industry`s `highly styled pornography`

British singer-songwriter Annie Lennox has blasted the music industry for advocating "highly styled pornography".

London: British singer-songwriter Annie Lennox has blasted the music industry for advocating "highly styled pornography". The former Eurthymics star`s claims emerged after Miley Cyrus and Irish singer Sinead O`Connor were recently involved in an online war, after O`Connor urged the 20-year-old singer to resist music industry`s pressure to "prostitute" herself, the Mirror reported.
The `Why` hit maker claimed on her Facebook page that she was disturbed and dismayed by the recent spate of overtly sexualized performances and videos. The mum-of-three asserted that certain record companies are peddling highly styled pornography with musical accompaniment, "as if the tidal wave of sexualized imagery wasn`t already bombarding impressionable young girls enough."
