Bollywood singers pays tribute to Pancham da during concert

Several Bollywood singers including Harshdeep Kaur, Vinod Rathod and Babul Supriyo paid a musical tribute to maestro RD Burman to commemorate his 75th birth anniversary.

New Delhi: Several Bollywood singers including Harshdeep Kaur, Vinod Rathod and Babul Supriyo paid a musical tribute to maestro RD Burman to commemorate his 75th birth anniversary. The concert organised by PHD Chamber of Commerce last night, saw a houseful gathering, humming to the popular tunes of Pancham da.
"I remember my first performance was also titled `Musafir Hoon Yaaron`... So it is amazing and emotional to perform his songs again and again," said Rathod, who is known for crooning hit songs from films like `Baazigar` and `Chandni`. The singers sang numbers like `Piya tu ab toh aaja`, `Gulabi ankhein` and `Ek Ajnabi Haseena Se` among others.
