Los Angeles: Eddie Murphy has debuted a new reggae track following his 2013 collaboration with Snoop Dogg in 'Red Light'. The song called 'Oh Jah Jah' was premiered by the singer-actor on January 8 ahead of its iTunes debut on January 27 via the world's biggest reggae record label VP Records.
"Police in the street shooting down black babies. Glory hallelujah for the young and the innocent," he sings in the song. Murphy earlier revealed in an interview that he had never stopped making music in the past 20 years. He added that he had numerous unreleased songs including collaborations with other musicians.
Asked if he would make a new album, the 53-year-old superstar said, "If people respond to (Oh Jah Jah), then I might. If people don't, that will just stay on the shelf where it's at."
