Elton John, Sam Smith to lead Music Midtown Festival

Los Angeles: Artists Drake, Elton John, Van Halen and Sam Smith will headline the 2015 Music Midtown Festival.

The two-day musical extravaganza (September 18-19) will be held in Atlanta's Piedmont Park, reported Variety.

The lineup for this edition of the festival features Lenny Kravitz, Billy Idol, Panic! At the Disco, Run the Jewels, Tove Lo, Jenny Lewis and Hozier.

Tickets for the fest will go on sale from June 26. Last year's edition of the festival included performances by Jack White, Lorde, Eminem and Zac Brown Band, to name a few.

Music Midtown Festival ran from 1994 to 2005 before starting up again in 2011. The 2015 edition will see of a fourth stage, accommodating more performances over the two-day festival.
