London: "Pitch Perfect 2" star Hailee Steinfeld has released her debut solo single 'Love Myself'.
The track was released on August 7, with the 18-year-old actress sharing her excitement with fans on Twitter.
Throughout the day, Steinfeld described the situation as "insane" and "unreal", and said she was "feeling feelings" when she heard the song on the radio for the first time.
Speaking about the empowering single, the singer said on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, "We're fed this false sort of sense of what we're supposed to be like in order to love ourselves.
"I think this song... Kind of highlights the power of loving yourself and empowering yourself."
Steinfeld has appeared in films such as True Grit, Romeo and Juliet and Barely Lethal. She also featured in 2013's Begin Again, alongside Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo.
The actress also appeared in Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" music video as The Trinity.
