London: Singer Robbie Williams has revealed that actor Hugh Jackman almost appeared on his latest album.
The `Go Gentle` singer had hoped to secure a duet with the `Les Miserables` actor for his album `Swings Both Ways`.
However, Jackman was busy shooting the latest `Wolverine` film and was unable to appear, reported Digital Spy.
"I wanted to sing with Hugh Jackman, but unfortunately he was between Wolverine and something else and couldn`t do it. But he was the only one who couldn`t do it," Williams said.
`Swings Both Ways` became the 1,000th number one album in the UK last month.
"It`s great but it`s all so great and the press made a big deal of it, and my album got extra promotion because of it. It`s just another part of being the luckiest man on the planet with my album coming out at that particular time. I`m blessed that it was number one, but triple quadruple blessed that it was the 1,000th number one."
