Los Angeles: Pop star Katy Perry has registered a track called "1984", which is speculated by fans to be a response to Taylor Swift's hit number "Bad Blood".

"Bad Blood" from Swift's fifth studio album named "1989" was said to be about Katy Perry, reported Us Magazine.

Swift had explained in an interview that the catchy tune was about a girl, she is "straight-up enemies" following which Perry tweeted, "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..."

"She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me," Swift had alleged without naming Perry during the interview.

Perry, 30, is yet to address her feud with Swift, 25, but in an interview she said, "If somebody is trying to defame my character, you are going to hear about it."
