Morrissey cancels Iceland show for non-vegetarian venue

Los Angeles: Rocker Morrissey has cancelled a gig in Iceland due to his vegetarian policy.
The 55-year-old singer and animal rights activist decided to pull out of his upcoming show at Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik because the venue refused to stop serving meat, reported Ace Showbiz.
According to fansite True to You, the Iceland venue's operators did not want to comply with the star's request.
"I love Iceland and I have waited a long time to return, but I shall leave the Harpa Concert Hall to their cannibalistic flesh-eating bloodlust," the former frontman of The Smiths explained the cancellation in a statement.
This is not Morrissey's first time to have ever scrapped a scheduled show because the venue won't go vegetarian. In 2009, he cut short his gig at Coachella fest after complaining about the smell of burgers.
