We should make a practice of honouring great personalities well in advance especially those who are already in their advanced stages of life in order that they feel the pleasure of having achieved something great in their lifetime and also they would be able to express their feelings and communicate the pleasure with their near and dear ones and also advise the younger generation the values and sentiments behind such achievements in ones life rather than awarding them posthumously. - venkataramanaiah ramu - India
