Los Angeles: Pop star Pink says she has no issues with singer Demi Lovato after her comments, criticising the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, went viral.
Pink, 35, had earlier posted a comment on Instagram, which she later deleted.

"This trash won't save any kid's life," the comment read.

The "Just Like a Pill" hitmaker added that while the show left her feeling "embarrassed and sad" a few performances stood out as good, including Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Weeknd, Tori Kelly and Justin Bieber, reported Entertainment Weekly.

The pop star, however, responded to growing uproar over the fact that she did not include Lovato on her rundown of the positive aspects from the ceremony.

"Please look for a feud elsewhere. I have no issue with Demi Lovato or anyone else. I actually forgot she performed. I have opinions. MANY.

"I stand by what I said. However, I didn't intend for the angry people of the world to latch on and make it into something it isn't. Peace," Pink wrote on Twitter.

While Lovato, 23, did not address Pink by name, she quoted the singer in a tweet about the VMAs and her performance of "Cool for the Summer".

"Cool For The Summer may not 'save kid's lives' or 'inspire' but I'd say 'Skyscraper' & 'Warrior' have done a pretty good job of helping people."
