Quitting Oasis was a hasty decision, admits Noel Gallagher

Washington: Rock star Noel Gallagher has admitted that that quitting Oasis was a “hasty decision”, as now he can’t perform for its 20th anniversary in 2015.
The 44-year-old rocker had quit the band in 2009 following a fight with his brother Liam prior to a gig in Paris. However, now the idea of a reunion to celebrate the band’s anniversary of their debut album (What’s The Story) Morning Glory seems to be farfetched. Gallagher admits that instead of quitting, he should have struggled through the rest of the tour before taking a break. “It was a hasty decision, I’ve got to say, and we could maybe have all gone off and done other things for a few years,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling Britain’s Absolute Radio. “In my own head the 2015, 20-year anniversary of (What’s The Story) Morning Glory is looming and we could have maybe come back, made a new album and played that album in its entirety and gone - and been the greatest thing ever. But there you go,” he added. ANI
