Robin Thicke releases new single 'Morning Sun'

Los Angeles: Singer Robin Thicke is back with new music.

After splitting from Paula Patton and losing the ‘Blurred Lines’ lawsuit last year, the R&B singer has returned with a brand new song titled ‘Morning Sun’, reported Ace Showbiz.

Thicke also released the song online along with its accompanying lyric video via his Vevo channel.

On the mid-tempo track, the 38-year-old singer shows off his smooth and sensual vocals as he talks about his girl.

"You were born a star/ But now you're my midnight moon and my morning sun," he sings.

‘Morning Sun’ serves as a preview of Thicke's upcoming eighth studio album, a follow-up to last year's "Paula".

An effort to win back his then-estranged wife Patton, the 2014 record was not received well both critically and commercially.
