Sugababes get an Indian make-over

London: Sugababes, the popular girl band are sporting sarees and bindis in their latest avatar as Indian brides.The musical trio of Amelle Barabah, Heidi Range and Jade Ewen got an Indian make-over for the cover of Asian Woman magazine, reported Sun online. The British group which has chart-topping numbers like `Freak Like Me` and `Touch` to their credit seem keen to spread their fan base into the large Indian diaspora in the UK. They have also remixed their recent single `About A Girl` with Indian instruments. They debuted the `desi` mix of the track at the UK Asian Music Awards in March. Earlier `Pussycat Dolls` has walked the red carpet wearing sarees to announce their single `Jai Ho`. Liz Hurley, Victoria Beckham and Ashley Judd are some other Hollywood beauties who have worn the saree. PTI
