Washington: A video showing marines lip-synching Britney Spears’ ‘Hold It Against Me’ has become a YouTube hit.
The video comes almost a year after soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division stationed in Afghanistan created a video homage to Lady Gaga with their lip-synched version of ‘Telephone’. Dressed in desert fatigues, about a dozen men and women from the Marines’ 266 Rein and HMLA 169 in Afghanistan shamelessly shook their hips, posed and pouted as they mimed to lyrics like, “If I told you that I want your body now, would hold it against me?” Some choice scenes include a workout session with some heavily tattooed soldiers, Marines dancing with glow sticks, a saucy jumpsuit striptease and a sexy serenade from the back of a moving tank. The video has been viewed over 150,000 times on YouTube, and even Spears herself has raved about the Marines’ take on her hit. “I am in LOVE with this. I always knew our soldiers were fierce! Thanks for everything you guys do... Britney,” Fox News quoted Spears as tweeting. ANI
