New Delhi: It’s time for all talented singers to gear up to make their voice heard to the nation! The most awaited singing reality show of Indian Television, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ is back as Zee TV announces its auditions in Delhi on Sunday, September 9, 2012.
The first ever musical talent hunt show on Indian television and an overwhelming success of over 18 years under its belt, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ is back to enthrall our music crazy nation. The most iconic singing reality show is back in its original avatar with exceptional singing quality as its USP that appeals to the younger as well as the older generation alike.
The judges’ panel will comprise of some of the biggest names in the music industry who will bring spunk and vibrancy on the show while maintaining its glorious heritage. The quest at ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ has always been to showcase India’s best singing talent but this season, the show will also present some mellifluous voices from other places in the Indian subcontinent like Dhaka and Lahore. In India, auditions are being held in Bhubaneshwar, Jammu, Jaipur, Patna, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Nagpur, Guwahati, Delhi, Kolkata, Indore, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
To participate, one needs to be between 16 to 30 years of age and must carry a passport-sized photograph to the auditions. The venue for selection in Delhi is OPG World School, Sector 19 B, Dwarka, New Delhi -110075 and the audition gates will stay open between 8 am and 2 pm on September 9!
With around 3,000 people turning up at Delhi for the auditions last year, expectations in finding many talented singers from the city are high.
