Mumbai: Seems like new age Bollywood actors now believe in singing for themselves in the films they act. Buzz has it that Abhishek Bachchan is all set to turn a rapper yet again after a successful stint with ‘Right Here Right Now’ that he sang last in his film ‘Bluffmaster’.

After six long years, AB Jr would wield the microphone exclusively to render a rap song in his forthcoming film ‘Dum Maro Dum ‘. Directed by Rohan Sippy, the films sees him playing a cop in Goa.

It ‘s only been days that Abhishek returned to India after attending the Oscars in the US with wife Aishwarya Rai, and the work assignment after nearly a month-long getaway that he got was to record this rap song in the studio.

“Back in the studio after 6 yrs with chuck masta Sippy. Have no idea why he`s convinced that I can sing!! But Pritam`s killing it!!!!” Abhishek tweeted.

As you must have already guessed, the film’s music is composed by Pritam, and if sources are to be believed the rap number has a groovy and hip beat.
