I hope One Direction stays together: Simon Cowell

London: Music mogul Simon Cowell says he wants boy band One Direction to remain united, days after he was quoted saying that groups do not stay together forever. Cowell, 54, took to Twitter to clear the speculation about One Direction`s future and said he just made a guess about the band and it should not be taken seriously, reported Digital Spy.
"Just to clear up the rumours it is my guess and my hope One D will stay together for a very long time (sic)," Cowell wrote on his official page. "The boys are having the best time. And as I said recently their new album is really really good," he added. One Direction comprising Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, signed with Cowell`s record label Syco Records after forming and finishing third in the seventh series of `The X Factor` in 2010. Later, the band came up with its first album Up All Night (2011), followed by Take Me Home (2012) and Midnight Memories, last year.
