Justin Timberlake `fan` MJ recorded duet with singer

London: Justin Timberlake has revealed that Michael Jackson wanted to cut the record with him but he wanted it to be a duet.

The `Suit and Tie` singer asserted that his former band `NSYNC`s single `Gone` was written by him with Jackson in mind, but was turned down by the King of Pop`s camp, Daily Star reported.

The 33-year-old singer said that he told Jackson that they already cut the record but wanted it to be a duet himself and Timberlake.

The pair then recorded `Love Never Felt So Good`, which is in Jackson`s posthumous album `Xscape.`
