Neil Nitin Mukesh to sing for `Shortcut Romeo`

Mumbai: Neil Nitin Mukesh`s musical legacy doesn`t seem to leave him anytime soon. The actor is set to sing once again for the big screen for his new film `Shortcut Romeo`.

"Recording a song today! For `Shortcut Romeo`. Music by the great Himesh Reshammiya. Will give you details once it`s done later in the evening," Neil wrote on his Twitter page.

"Shortcut Romeo" is a romantic thriller directed and produced by Susi Ganeshan. It is the remake of the Ganeshan`s 2006 Tamil film ‘Thiruttu Payale’. The film also features Puja Gupta and Ameesha Patel. While Puja will be playing Neil`s love interest, Ameesha would be seen in a negative role.

This is not the first time that Neil has turned a actor-singer. He has previously sung the title track of his film ‘Aa Dekhen Zara’ and later gave his voice for another song in Madhur Bhandarkar`s ‘Jail.
