Mumbai: The most awaited flick of the year, Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Rockstar’ is already creating a lot of buzz and the latest about the flick has it that the film – a musical extravaganza is set for rock concerts in Delhi and London along with the cast and crew of the film. Breaking mould from the conventional form of launching the music of any film, the makers and music label have come to an agreement to do concerts. The CDs and music of the ‘Rockstar’ would however hit stands on Monday. Talking to daily, Bhushan Kumar of T-Series said, “The buzz around the music is so big that we don’t need any formal music launch. We wanted to do something different, so we thought of this new idea.” The soundtrack of Rockstar was scheduled to release on September 24, and was later postponed to September 29. The delay in production, followed by some final touches to the CD, stalled the release of the music, reveals Kumar. “The delay took place due to the production. The CD is also a bit different. It has a lot of embossing. The master also got delayed because Rahman was not in India. We were anyway targeting its release around Navratri and not during the shraadh (fasting) period,” Bhusan added. According to Kumar, the concerts will feature Rahman on stage, and Ranbir may join in too. “We are planning concerts since the film is about music. It will be in Delhi on November 1 and later in London. And by November, I am sure the songs will have become more popular,” he said.
