Sonu Nigam’s son sings ‘milk’ version of ‘Kolaveri Di’

The latest to sing the newest version of ‘Kolaveri Di’ is Sonu Nigam’s 4-year-old son, Nevaan.

Mumbai: Social networking sites across the world are all thumbs up for this new song ‘Kolaveri Di’ sung by South Indian superstar Dhanush. And Indian kids across the world are latching onto it. Even as the song is spreading like an epidemic online, with each passing day a new version of the same song is being uploaded and shared by its fans. The latest to sing the newest version is Sonu Nigam’s 4-year-old son, Nevaan. The toddler has put a kiddy spin to ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’.
The modified lyrics of the new kid’s version go, "Handla glass-u, glass la milk-u, milk-u colour white-u/Empty glass-u, mamma come-u, give me milk-u dear-u..". Hence, this is the "milk" version of 'Kolaveri Di' that also features Sonu Nigam along with his wife Madhurima in a studio. Exclaiming on the milk version, Dhanush tweeted, "Oh my god I`m in love with Nevaan Nigam’s version of 'Kolaveri'. Great idea Sonu nigam ji. It`s very touching and endearing. Hi 5 nevaan. God bless u." Soon after Nevaan`s version was uploaded, it generated more than 63,586 hits. The original ‘Why This Kolaveri Di song’, which was uploaded on November 16, is still a rage on YouTube with 16,228,211 hits.
