`Grateful Dead` to pay tribute to Garcia

London: Rocker Jerry Garcia`s `Grateful Dead` bandmates will mark his 15th anniversary by performing at a baseball game, where his daughter will throw the first pitch.

The San Francisco Giants team, who have dedicated the match to Garcia, will welcome Bob Weir and Mickey Hart to their stadium for Jerry Garcia Tribute Night, reported Daily Mail online.

Garcia and his band were a massive part of the San Francisco hippie scene in the late 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.

Drummer Hart hopes to use the occasion to have a little fun, he will attempt to set a Guinness World Record by asking 7,000 participants to sing the baseball anthem `Take Me Out to the Ball Game`.
