Bieber wants to be the next Timberlake
New York: Canadian singer Justin Bieber, who is currently ruling the charts in teen pop music wants to be a star even as he grows up, by following in the footsteps of his namesake and former teen sensation Justin Timberlake.
"I want to be an artist that just doesn`t come out with just one song. I want to be able to have longevity and have my fans grow with me, not just be a teen artist and move
up and be an adult artist," Bieber was quoted as saying by AccessHollywood.
The 16-year-old singer, who is the first artist to have seven songs from a debut album chart on Billboard`s Hot 100 chart, insists that five years from now, he wants his career to evolve.
"Justin [Timberlake] or Usher for example, they both started when they were my age and look at them today. They are constantly doing stuff. Justin Timberlake is in the movies now and doing stuff," Bieber said.
