Bieber’s surprise ‘Cry Me A River’ performance at Gomez’s concert

New York: Justin Bieber surprised fans at girlfriend Selena Gomez’s Costa Mesa concert when he took to the stage to perform Justin Timberlake’s ‘Cry Me A River’.

Bieber, 17, and Gomez, 19, shared a quick hug before she hurried off the stage and he took the mic for his best version of the break-up anthem.

Timberlake had penned the song in 2002 about his bitter split from first love Britney Spears.

Bieber, however, stamped out any rumours the two were on the rocks with a few heartfelt tweets to Gomez.

“U did great tonight. proud of u,” a newspaper quoted him as writing to Gomez on Twitter.
