London: Rock band Bon Jovi will take a two-year sabbatical after wrapping up their current world tour so that they can be back with a bang for their fans.
The group is currently performing a string of dates across the globe as a part of `The Circle` tour, which was the highest-earning tour of 2010.
Their final show is set for July 31 in Portugal and the musicians are adamant that it will be their last for the time being, Femalefirst reported.
"Sometimes you need to get away so people can appreciate you better. The best thing I can tell you is we`re gonna need a couple of years off for sure," Drummer Tico Torres said.
Frontman Jon Bon Jovi recently said that he is re-igniting his movie career by signing up for a role in `Valentine`s Day` follow-up `New Year`s Eve`.
