‘Boyzone’ not splitting up, Keith Duffy reassures fans

Washington: Boyzone star Keith Duffy has dismissed rumours that the Irish pop stars are splitting from their manager Louis Walsh and stepping away from the spotlight.

He reassured fans that the band is intact and set for their England tour and lots of more music in the future.

Earlier, a British tabloid had reported that the group has been dropped by the manager, who decided it was the "right time for the band to finish."

"There are no issues as far as I’m concerned. Louis does his own thing and we’re all busy doing our own things. Boyzone are still flying. We’re doing a U.K. tour over the summer. And the record company is really enthusiastic and planning a new CD," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Britain’s Daily Mirror.
