Coldplay to play charity gigs
London: British rock band Coldplay is set to make its long awaited live return with two intimate UK gigs in aid of British homeless charity organization Crisis.
The band will play Liverpool on December 19 and Newcastle December 20. Venues for the live shows are yet to be announced.
Tickets go on sale November 12 via the band`s official website. There will also be an additional auction of 200 tickets, including meet and greet opportunities. Those will take place in the run up to the shows.
Proceeds from the gigs will to be donated to Crisis.
Coldplay is currently working in the studio on its fifth studio album which, according to Billboard.biz, is due to be released early next year. Touring dates are expected to follow.
