Los Angeles: Singer Amy Winehouse`s goddaughter, Dionne Bromfield, sang one of her famous tracks `Love is a Losing Game`, in dedication to her late godmother.
Bromfield took the stage to pay tribute to Winehouse at the Big Chill Music Festival in England, The Hollywood Reporter said.
"She was an amazing singer. She was not only my godmother, but she was my mentor and my boss as well," Bromfield said to the audience.
The 15-year-old teared up at the end of the song, but was cheered on by the audience. Bromfield is signed on to Winehouse`s record label, Lioness Records.
Bromfield`s powerful vocals are reminiscent of Winehouse`s own. She also sang songs from her two albums, along with a cover of Cee Lo Green`s `Forget You`.
Bromfield shot to fame at the age of 12 when she recorded a YouTube video with Winehouse in 2008. The video got thousands of views in a matter of weeks.
Winehouse sponsored a trip for Bromfield to a 10-day intensive singing program in Los Angeles that summer.
Winehouse was found dead at her London home on July 23. On June 20, Winehouse joined Bromfield on stage at The Roundhouse in London. Bromfield sang `Mama Said`, while Winehouse clapped and danced along.
