I feel like Hitler, says ‘Stronger’ hitmaker Kanye West

London: Rapper Kanye West has said that he sometime feels like Nazi leader Adolf Hitler when his fans look at him.

The 34-year-old singer was at the Big Chill music festival last week where he ranted in the middle of his show about being misunderstood and under-appreciated, Daily Express reported.

"I walk through the hotel and I walk down the street, and people look at me like I`m insane, like I`m Hitler," he said.

The multiplatinum-seller is known for his outbursts, most notably his attack on Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

West, who started his set about 30 minutes late, apologised to the crowd for his tardiness and said that he needs to make sure his performance is great.

He closed his show on a positive note by paying tribute to Amy Winehouse and played snippets of Winehouse`s `Tears Dry On Their Own` and `Back To Black`.

"I met with the late singer a few years ago during Paris fashion week. It was "beautiful" to meet her and she was "amazing"," he added.
