Janet Jackson’s 1st show in Abu Dhabi proves her mastery

Dubai: Janet Jackson’s recent show at the Yas Arena in Abu Dhabi, UAE, proved that she still had the craft in her.

She performed for the first time in Abu Dhabi, in a simplistic set, with no visual trickery, singing her songs that have gone to the top of the charts and took the audience on an emotional ride with her, with many in tears. Jackson opened the show with the video to ‘That’s the Way Love Goes’, the song she dedicated to Abu Dhabi on her Number Ones Up Close and Personal Tour. The song that stood out for most, however, was ‘Together Again’, the only duet Janet did with her late brother Michael Jackson. “Abu Dhabi, this is my first time performing in the Middle East. You have no idea how much I love you. Thank you for your support. You know my brother was crazy about this part of the world,” Gulf News Quoted her as saying. “Thank you, not just for me, but for my entire family. I love you so much,” she added. ANI
