Jay-Z’s lavish ‘Watch the Throne’ release party

Washington: Jay-Z celebrated the release of his new album ‘Watch the Throne’ in style by throwing a lavish party at a Miami, Florida nightclub.

The 41-year-old American rapper, who collaborated with Kanye West for the album, spent 2,50,000 dollars on Armand de Brignac champagene, threw in a 50,000 dollars tip and spent thousands more on the Italian restaurant, Scarpetta, inside Fontainebleau which stayed open extra-late for his crew. The occasional actor headed to the LIV Nightclub to continue the party after a pasta dinner and tequila shots. “Jay-Z was well-behaved and laid low all night on a banquette with his entourage of boys,” People magazine quoted a source as saying.
