Johnny Depp jams with Alice Cooper

London: Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp has finally taken up Alice Cooper`s offer to join the rocker`s band at a show.

The `School`s Out` hitmaker has often praised Depp for his guitar skills and offered him a regular slot in his band after the actor impressed him during an appearance at a Cooper show here last year, reported Daily Star.

"Johnny came to Hollywood to play guitar. He didn`t come as an actor at all... I always say to him, `If you really want to go out on tour, let me know and you can come with us.` I wouldn`t be surprised if he did," Cooper said.

Depp, 49, joined his friend on stage and stuck around to play on several covers, beginning with Cooper`s rendition of `The Doors` Break On Through` (To the Other Side) and the Beatles` Revolution.
