Justin Bieber plans charity gig for college students

London: Teen sensation Justin Bieber has planned a charity gig in a bid to help students apply for higher studies.

The 17-year-old singer will perform at the Mountain Winery venue in Saratoga, California on June 11, to raise money for College Track, an after-school program which helps students apply for further education, reported Contactmusic.

The initiative of the `Baby` hitmaker has already received praise from celebrity fans like Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher.

"Hey Justin Bieber proud that you are playing a show for College Track. Good on you," wrote Kutcher on micro blogging site Twitter.

Rapper MC Hammer tweeted, "Thanks for supporting College Track. You donated your time, talent and heart."

The tickets for the exclusive show will range from USD 250 to USD 1,500.
