Los Angeles: Rapper Kanye West has revealed he wants to release his next studio album in the summer of 2014.
However, the follow up to `Yeezus` may only contain eight songs, reported Rolling Stone magazine.
"I think my next album is going to be eight songs. It`s just reducing down the amount of information that you need. People say a design is the point where you can`t take anything else away. Yeezus was very, very designed," West said.
"I took a departure from radio and popular music in order to get this seat here. If I hadn`t made Yeezus, I wouldn`t be sitting here with this cool font at Basel right here."
It seems West`s studio sets are getting shorter and shorter, `Yeezus` has been his shortest to date with just 10 songs and a running time of 40 minutes, which differs from the usual 12-13 songs that West usually settles on.
The `Stronger` rapper`s longest set is his debut album College Dropout` which contained 21 tracks.
