Lady Gaga angers Beatles fans
London: Lady Gaga has angered fans of Beatles legend John Lennon after a photo of her playing the icon`s piano, clad in a basque and fishnets, was posted on Twitter.
Beatle devotees have attacked Lennon`s son Sean for allowing the pop star to play on their heroes piano, after he posted the picture on the social networking website.
But in response to the barrage of criticism he removed the snap of the `Pokerface` hitmaker, reported a news website.
Beatles fans raged that Gaga wasn`t worthy to play the relic.
"Pianos are meant to be played. Why is everyone so uptight? What should we do, lock it away in a dusty room? So judgemental," retorted Sean, the son of Lennon and Yoko Ono. When the criticism continued, he wrote on Twitter, "Come on, lighten up...life`s too short, there`re enough real problems in the world."
"Firstly, he gave that piano to my mother for her birthday, it is hers, secondly, he was not uptight the way you seem to be," he added.
Poker Face singer Gaga may produce modern pop songs but is also an accomplished pianist.
She was a child prodigy on the instrument, playing from age four and writing her first piano ballad at the age of 13.
