Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ clinches top spot on Billboard album chart

Washington: Lady Gaga’s latest offering ‘Born This Way’ turned out to be a sensation in this week’s music stakes, as her fans helped the album clinch the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart, gobbling up over 1 million copies in its first week.

Other big new music releases that hit the market included two big names, Eddie Vedder for his ‘Ukulele Songs’ and Jordan Knight of ‘New Kids on the Block’ for his solo CD, ‘Unfinished’.

Among new faces, Michael Jackson’s nephew Austin Brown came into the limelight with his debut album, ‘85’, reports Fox News.

Heavy metal rockers ‘Judas Priest’ also made headlines this week, kicking off their farewell tour after taking the stage with ‘American Idol Season 10’ resident rocker James Durbin.
