Ludacris denies being approached by Beiber to pen down lyrics

Washington: Ludacris has denied rumours that Justin Beiber approached him to pen down lyrics for ‘Cypher flow’, to enable him to get a spot in a group freestyle performance at the Bet Hip-Hop Awards.

The famous section of the awards ceremony known as ‘Cypher’—is a pre-recorded musical segment. This year it was presented by DJ Premier and featured rappers Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Ludacris and B.o.B., along with Chris Brown.

Earlier this week DJ Premier had revealed that he was forced to reject Justin Beiber’s entry in the cypher as he got to know that Beiber did not pen down his own lyrics and that he had asked Ludacris to pen down the lyrics for him, Contactmusic reports.

Ludacris has however denied the rumour insisting that the baby hitmaker never approached him for writing cypher.

“My Lil homie @justinbieber loves hip hop & at no point was I supposed to write his cypher flow. #getyafactsright” he tweeted.

DJ Premier later thanked Ludacris for clearing the rumour on his twitter page.

“Spoke 2 (sic) @Ludacris & he witnessed Justin Beiber (sic) write his rhymes & that he can flow... He said he wasn``t s``posed (supposed) to write 4 tha (for the) Cypher... So shout to @Ludacris for givin`` me the correct info.”
