Mariah Carey’s 1994 Christmas classic tops 2011 Holiday Songs chart

Washington: Mariah Carey’s 1994 Christmas classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ has topped 2011’s first Billboard Holiday Songs chart in the U.S.

Thanks to a combination of download sales and airplay, the pop queen’s hit number sleighed the competition in the first top 50 of the year, which was released on Thursday.

Justin Bieber’s ‘Mistletoe’ comes second on the Christmas countdown and Brenda Lee’s ‘Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree’ is at three, Contactmusic reported.

At four is Nat King Cole’s rendition of ‘The Christmas Song’ and Bobby Helms rounds out the top five with ‘Jingle Bell Rock’.
