Mick Jagger’s new supergroup never rehearsed

London: Mick Jagger says he found working with his supergroup, which also has Indian composer A R Rahman, a totally new experience because the band never rehearsed or met properly before they started writing material.

Mick Jagger formed SuperHeavy with Dave Stewart, singer Joss Stone, AR Rahman and reggae superstar Damian Marley.

He said that the creative process was a change from working with Rolling Stone, revealing they didn`t practice together before recording, reported Sun online.

"It was very different because we didn`t know the people really well, we didn`t rehearse and we didn`t have songs written. We just sort of sat there, looked at each other and started playing," said the `Sweet Thing` hitmaker.

And Jagger is adamant the non-rigid recording sessions created the best songs.

"That`s why I love that one because it was just a jam and we just kind of made it up as we went along and the lyrics sometimes went with the melody at the same time," he said.
