Mumbai: Brett Lee is a winner, both on and off the cricket field. Not many people are aware of his talent as a musician, but ask those who have heard him and the words of praise for the charming Aussie will not stop flowing.

Although the thrill of frightening the batsmen with his sheer pace and killer accuracy is what has driven Lee through the years, the lanky pacer has been troubled by a spate of injuries in the recent past.

Brett Lee, the musician, has recently kicked-off his latest project named White Shoe Theory along with well known musician Micky Vawdon.

On Wednesday, Lee kicked off his India tour and sent the crowd at Firangi Paani, Andheri, wild with excitement.

Wearing a grey T-shirt and jeans, Lee played his original composition My Shoes.

Lee and his band will perform in six cities across India, moving from Mumbai to Pune, Bangalore, Goa, Chandigarh and finally ending their tour in Delhi on November 20.

On being asked why they chose India for their tour, Lee said:

“Anything is possible in India. It’s that rawness that I love. I feel welcome here every single time and it’s like my second home.”

“Music transcends any culture, that’s what’s so great about it,” he added.
